Using a geology-based assessment methodology, the U.S. Geological Survey estimated mean undiscovered volumes of 3.65 billion barrels of oil, 1.85 trillion cubic feet of associated/dissolved natural gas, and 148 million barrels of natural gas liquids in the Bakken Shale Formation of the Williston Basin Province, Montana and North Dakota.

2,000+ Energy Execs Examine Oily Shale Plays Next Week at Developing Unconventional Oil Conference 2011 in Denver

/PRNewswire/ -- Hart Energy expects more than 2,000 petroleum industry professionals to attend its 2nd annual DUO™ (Developing Unconventional Oil) Conference and Exhibition May 23-25 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.  The event will be the largest oil and gas strategy conference ever convened in the Mile-High City.
